About Iris

Iris is a personal assistant application. The purpose of Iris is to help one person manage their day — reminders, priorities, and follow-ups — through Apple iMessage, without installing a separate mobile app.

Prospective users text Iris and can start immediately: set reminders, make checklists, and forward email to their personal Iris assistant address. Connecting Google (read-only Gmail + optional Calendar) is optional and unlocks inbox/schedule context when they want it. Users may also connect Linear and other apps for work context.

Purpose of the Iris application

• Provide a private, per-user AI assistant over iMessage
• Deliver first value without requiring personal inbox OAuth
• Give each user an agent email identity for forwards and reminders
• Optionally read Gmail (read-only) when the user connects Google — Iris never sends, deletes, or modifies email via first-party Google
• Use Google Calendar (when connected) to answer schedule questions, deliver timed iMessage reminders, and create calendar events the user requests
• Optionally read Linear work data when the user connects Linear
• Keep each user’s tokens and memory isolated from every other user

How to use Iris

Tap Text Iris above. Ask for a reminder or checklist right away. When you're ready for calendar or inbox help, Iris will offer a secure Google connect link — or forward mail to your assistant address without connecting Gmail.
